Who Could Survive a Scorching Sun?

Living Laws’ debut film made in collaboration with the Bora, Muinane, Okaina, and Uitoto indigenous peoples of the Predio Putumayo in Colombia.

“Who Could Survive A Scorching Sun?” follows Irish lawyer and activist Brendan Tobin as he follows in the steps of fellow Irishman Roger Casement, a humanitarian who was sent to the heart of the Amazon to investigate and denounce the exploitation and genocide of the Indigenous peoples at the hands of the Peruvian Amazon Company.

100 years after Casement’s investigation, what reparations have been made to the affected Indigenous peoples? And what threats do they face now?
